2024 OCDS CONGRESS COST INFORMATION
HOTEL COSTS:
The Congress Hotel is located in Wakefield, Massachusetts [USA] (Closest airport: Boston Logan International)

As space becomes available, wait-listers will be contacted by Registrar on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hotel rooms at the Group Rate are only for confirmed Congress Registrants. The Congress Registrar will assist “Wait-Listers” with Hotel Reservations as Congress slots become available.
Room rates at the Sheraton Wakefield are $199 per night plus tax (1 King or 2 Queens/2 Doubles).
Singles are the same price as Doubles.
With current state and local taxes, the total is $222.28 per night.
On June 1, 2024, the hotel will charge your credit card for 1 night room and tax to guarantee your room.
This is a non-refundable charge by the hotel. A receipt will be sent to the email on the reservation.
If you are rooming with someone, only ONE of you should make the hotel reservation using one credit card. You can split the finances between yourselves.
If you plan to use your Marriot Bonvoy reward points, you must book separately on the Rewards app or Rewards hotline.
CONGRESS REGISTRATION FEE: CANCELLATION POLICY
Includes all meals, Saturday banquet (dinner, entertainment, favors, decorations), Congress tote bag, printed program, and access to all liturgies, presentations, vendor room, Congress photos, chapel, etc. In addition, the registration fee subsidizes travel expenses, hotel accommodations and stipends for Congress speakers, dignitaries, website, webmaster, photographer, videographer, etc.

$350: Early Registration Fee, payment in full by May 1, 2024 (SAVE $50)
$400: Late Registration Fee, payment in full after May 1, 2024
YOUR CONGRESS REGISTRATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR DEPOSIT.
Congress registration is strictly limited to 300 people max due to hotel constraints.
There is no "Commuter" or "Day Rate" (Hotel costs are separate and not included in the registration fee.)
There are no separate "meal only" plans. Access to all Congress sponsored Meals are for Congress registrants only.
There are no special Congress Registration rates for volunteers / Committee Members.
THURSDAY NIGHT EARLY DINNER OPTIONS
Dinner is on your own on Thursday, August 22nd. (check-in day).
An optional fixed price buffet dinner will be offered at the hotel on Thursday (5-6:15 PM) for $25.
Reservations are not required for the buffet.
Around the corner from the hotel is MarketStreet Lynnfield with many casual and fine dining options.
We recommend making advance reservations at the fine dining establishments.
For planning purposes, registration in the hotel lobby (pick up Congress Tote Bag) is from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The Opening Session of the Congress starts at 6:30 PM, followed by an evening presentation.
FRIDAY NEWBURYPORT EXCURSION (OPTIONAL)
The Friday afternoon Newburyport excursion is optional and is NOT included in the Congress Registration fee.
The First 2 buses are full. We just added a third bus. JOIN WAITLIST FOR BUS TRIP and the Congress Registrar will contact you with reservation/payment details.
Round trip bus tickets for a luxury coach with Air Conditioning is $35. Bus driver gratuity is included in this fare.
Please note that the payment of $35 is for bus transportation to and from Newburyport only.
